Cuban bassist, vocalist and composer Alain Pérez, winner of Grammy and Latin Grammy awards, arrives in Skopje on April 16 with the National Jazz Orchestra of Macedonia for a concert at the National Opera and Ballet.

Pérez is one of the most versatile Cuban musicians on the international scene. He spent ten years as a permanent member of legendary flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía's sextet, and has collaborated with Chucho Valdés (Blue Note Records), Chick Corea and Wynton Marsalis. His latest album "Bingo" was nominated for both Grammy and Latin Grammy in the best tropical Latin album category.

The concert is part of the "La Fiesta Tour" and promises an authentic Cuban experience - salsa, timba and jazz rhythms live. La Orquesta, an eight-piece rhythm section specializing in Cuban sound, will also be on stage.
