Former First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi remains under 24-hour house arrest.

Grubi returned to Macedonia on February 23 after spending more than 14 months as a fugitive.

He is charged with suspicious procurement of VLT devices, which allegedly caused 8 million euros in damage to the state budget.

Security reports indicate there have been death threats against Grubi, including hired assassins from a neighboring country.

His defense team is nearly finished reviewing the case documents, but Grubi has still not given his testimony.
