The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Branko Azeski, noted in a column that despite growing uncertainty among business leaders, hope for improvement exists.

Azeski outlined five priority recommendations for government policy: public procurement should favor domestic companies, public-private partnerships should become a strategic priority, economic diplomacy should focus on economic impact, public sector appointments affecting business should include consultations with the business community, and financial discipline in the public sector should match the private sector.

He praised the decision of the three major business associations (SSK, SKSM and SKZM) to sign a joint action platform, calling it a demonstration of capacity to support the state in crisis periods.

Azeski encouraged the prime minister to continue monthly company visits and to intensify work on administration, digitalization and eliminating corruption.
