Berovo and Popova Shapka began the new week with sub-zero temperatures - minus 1 degree Celsius was recorded, while the snow cover at Popova Shapka reached 66 centimetres.

Monday, March 9, will pass under variable cloudy skies. Weak local rain is possible in the western parts of the country during the morning hours, after which cloud cover will begin to decrease. Wind will be light to moderate, from the east to south-east.

In Skopje, maximum temperatures of up to 15 degrees are expected today, with occasional cloudiness and light rain in parts of the basin. Across the country, temperatures will range between 1 and 16 degrees Celsius.

The good news is that from Tuesday a period of predominantly stable and pleasant spring weather follows. Mornings will be fresh but afternoons will be sunny and relatively warm, with highs of up to 16 degrees.

March, in line with typical climate patterns, brings dynamic spring weather - with frequent changes in cloud cover and precipitation, but also a gradual increase in temperatures and sunny days.
