A 31-year-old man from Bitola is under investigation for producing and distributing child sexual abuse material. The case originated from an international investigation coordinated by the Australian Federal Police.

The suspect was employed at an educational institution and possessed materials from April 2024 to April 2026 using home computers.

The investigation involves cooperation between prosecutors, police, and the Computer Crime Department. Australian authorities identified IP addresses originating from North Macedonia. Investigations are ongoing in Skopje and other cities. A detention proposal has been filed.
