The British Telegraph published an extensive piece on Serbian President Vučić. Journalist Kapil Komiredi describes him as a leader whose political acumen is underestimated by the West. "Like a passionate chess player, he patiently studies politics."

He highlights Serbia's economic transformation under Vučić since 2014: unemployment from 21.3% to approximately 9%, GDP from 45 billion to over 80 billion dollars, the tech sector approximately 10% of GDP. Serbia received its first investment-grade credit rating in October 2024.

He argues Vučić pursues multi-alignment policies prioritizing Serbian autonomy, not a pro-Russian stance. He defends Serbia's media freedom, comparing it favorably to India.
