Serbian parliament speaker Ana Brnabic announced that the Serbian Progressive Party will discuss with Aleksandar Vucic whether he should be the candidate for prime minister in potential snap parliamentary elections.
Brnabic emphasized that Vucic is not calling elections because "the world is currently facing an unprecedented crisis," adding that the challenge is not his unwillingness for dialogue, but rather that those seeking talks "constantly push him aside."
She expressed confidence that Vucic would again call for broader discussion, but added that the hardest dialogue for him would be within his own party, attributing internal dissatisfaction to "fatigue from Brussels' double standards and hypocrisy."
Recent events prompted Vucic to initiate a broader societal dialogue, with early parliamentary elections identified as a key issue.
