The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) released a comprehensive update on military operations against Iran, revealing that 92% of Iran's military naval vessels have been destroyed and that coalition forces have conducted over 10,000 combat sorties since the start of hostilities.

The figures underscore the overwhelming air and naval superiority the US and its allies have established in the conflict. CENTCOM noted that Iran's ability to project naval power in the Persian Gulf has been effectively neutralized, with only a handful of smaller vessels still operational.

The campaign has also targeted Iran's coastal defense systems, port infrastructure, and naval command centers. Military officials stated that the destruction of Iran's fleet has significantly reduced the threat to commercial shipping in the region and secured key maritime lanes.

Despite the devastating losses, Iran has vowed to continue resistance using asymmetric warfare tactics, including the deployment of drones, mines, and small fast-attack boats. CENTCOM warned that while conventional naval threats have been largely eliminated, the risk from unconventional attacks remains significant.
