The weather pattern in Macedonia this week is typically spring-like: cold dawns with frost and warm, sunny afternoons. In Berovo this morning, temperatures of -6 degrees were recorded, while today's maximum temperatures in the lower areas will reach 18-20 degrees Celsius.

Stable and sunny conditions dominate throughout the country, with warming aided by warm air masses coming from the south. Daytime temperatures are above the March average, especially in the Pelagonian region. In Skopje, morning temperatures are near 0 degrees, rising to around 18 degrees in the afternoon.

Meteorologists warn that the dramatic daily temperature fluctuations can negatively affect those sensitive to weather changes. Rapid warming and cooling within a few hours has consequences for the body that is not accustomed to such variability.

Conditions are expected to remain stable until the end of the week, when changes are coming. Meteorologists forecast rainfall, and on mountains above 1500-1600 meters altitude there may be snow flurries. Until then, citizens can freely enjoy the spring sunshine and take advantage of the warm days.
