Businessman Miodrag Davidovic-Daka, who is on the US blacklist, was sold state properties at the former "SIK Jelak" in Tetovo for four times less than the appraised value, VMRO-DPMNE announced.

Instead of 4.7 million euros, Daka paid only 1.1 million euros for 7,743 square meters. On that site, 2,000 residential units, business premises and shopping centers worth over 200 million euros were supposed to be built.

According to VMRO-DPMNE, a 198-square-meter property owned by the Health Fund, appraised at 122,000 euros, was sold for just 34,000 euros. Another property of 2,359 square meters, worth nearly 1.5 million euros, was sold for 400,000 euros.

The party claims that changes to the zoning plan were made one day after the formation of the SDSM and DUI government, with the aim of enabling Davidovic to build a "concrete jungle" in Tetovo.

VMRO-DPMNE stated that it prevented this plan.
