The twentieth day of the Middle East conflict brought a series of dramatic developments, with attacks on key energy infrastructure across the region and growing global consequences.

A drone struck the SAMREF refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, which processes over 400,000 barrels of oil daily. Similar attacks were carried out on refineries in Kuwait, expanding the conflict beyond Iranian territory.

Qatar suffered a heavy blow - Iranian ballistic missiles hit the Ras Laffan industrial complex twice in 12 hours, inflicting major damage on the world's largest liquefied natural gas production facility.

US President Donald Trump warned that he would massively destroy Iran's South Pars gas field if attacks on Qatar continue, adding: "We will destroy the entire gas field with force and power the likes of which Iran has never seen."

Crude oil prices jumped to 112 dollars per barrel. British military specialists were deployed to coordinate efforts to open the Strait of Hormuz, with officials emphasizing that the operation is exceptionally difficult due to Iran's arsenal of fast boats, mines, ballistic missiles, and drones.
