A dramatic rescue operation took place early in the morning in Strumica when a young woman fell into a ravine below the Tsarevi Kuli fortress. Six firefighter-rescuers from the Strumica Territorial Fire Unit successfully extracted the injured woman.

The operation took place at the "Crven Dol" location, on extremely difficult and inaccessible terrain. The rescuers used two off-road vehicles, specialized mountaineering equipment, and stretchers to reach the injured woman and safely extract her.

After the successful intervention, the woman was handed over to medical teams for further treatment. Details about her injuries and the circumstances of the incident have not been disclosed.

The operation once again demonstrated the professionalism and bravery of Macedonian firefighter-rescuers who respond under the most challenging conditions.
