An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale was registered last night in the Delchevo-Berovo region in eastern Macedonia. The tremor was felt by residents of Berovo, Pehchevo, and surrounding settlements.

According to preliminary seismological data, the earthquake occurred with low intensity and no material damage is expected. Residents reported brief shaking, but there are no reports of injured persons or damaged buildings.

Experts point out that such earthquakes frequently occur in this seismically active zone. Despite their regular occurrence, low-intensity tremors typically do not cause serious consequences. The relevant institutions continue to monitor the situation.
