Europe is approaching a serious crisis with aviation fuel due to the consequences of the Middle East conflict and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Four European airports are facing a possible disruption in kerosene supply, with Italy being the first to raise the alarm.

The price of aviation fuel has been steadily rising, directly affecting ticket prices. Airlines warn that if the situation does not stabilize, certain flights may be cancelled.

On a positive note, the airports in Skopje and Ohrid have sufficient quantities of kerosene, TAV Macedonia announced, reassuring passengers that there is currently no cause for concern at domestic airports.

The crisis is a direct consequence of the disruption of global energy supply chains, particularly following the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz through which a significant portion of the world's oil shipments pass.
