A fire erupted at an auto parts factory in Daejeon, South Korea, approximately 160 km south of Seoul. Over 50 people were injured, 35 of them in critical condition, while 14 remain missing.

The national fire service declared a national mobilization, deploying 240 firefighters to the scene. Prime Minister Kim Min-seok ordered that saving lives be the top priority.
