FZO warns - check helium reserves, Iran war threatens supply

The Health Insurance Fund (FZO) alarmed health institutions with MRI machines to check their helium supply, as this raw material is directly affected by the war in Iran.

Director Saso Klekovski said helium prices rose 30% on the European market, and MRI machines cannot function without it. The Fund instructed institutions to conduct inspections to prevent future problems.

Helium is critical for medical equipment, and supply has been disrupted by the Middle Eastern conflict and the closure of key transport routes.
