Industrial production in North Macedonia declined 4.2% in February 2026 compared to the same month last year. Mining and quarrying fell 9.6%, the processing industry dropped 1.9%, while energy supply recorded a historic decline of 17.2%.

Employment in industry decreased by 3.4%. Capital goods rose 2.1% and intermediate products increased 0.2%.

Durable consumer goods fell 12%, while non-durable consumer goods declined 6.9%.
