Israel conducted massive air strikes on Tehran, targeting the main commercial street in the Iranian capital. According to reports, Jomhuri Avenue, the Jami bus station, and part of a residential block nearby were completely destroyed. Israeli forces confirmed they launched "massive waves of attacks" against regime infrastructure.

Iran retaliated with the nineteenth wave of Operation True Promise 4, deploying missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against American and Israeli targets across the region. In the given wave, Ben Gurion Airport and the Israeli Defense Ministry building in Tel Aviv were targeted with hypersonic missiles and drones.

Iran's military spokesperson stated that future attacks "will be even fiercer and more comprehensive." Iran characterizes its military actions as exercising the right to self-defense in response to the joint US-Israeli operations that began on February 28 this year, with the declared goal of preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

Washington and Tel Aviv declared "historic victories" and claim significant Iranian state infrastructure has been destroyed. The US Central Command warned that the operation could last longer than the originally projected timeframe.

The escalation prompted concern from the international community — several countries urged their citizens to leave the affected regions, and the UN Security Council scheduled an emergency session to review the situation.
