Israeli and American airstrikes hit five Iranian energy installations — four petroleum storage facilities and a transport center in the Tehran and Alborz regions. The Shahran refinery, in the immediate vicinity of the Iranian capital, continued burning the following morning after the attack, with thick black smoke spreading across the city.

Iranian authorities confirmed that all five facilities sustained damage. Officials stated that the fires were brought under control, but videos circulating on social media show enormous flames and smoke pouring from the industrial zone.

In a parallel operation, Israeli air forces destroyed several Iranian F-14 fighter jets during strikes on the Isfahan airport. These aircraft, manufactured in the United States and delivered to Iran before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, were part of Iran's air arsenal. In addition to the fighter jets, detection and air defense systems were also destroyed. Previous strikes on Mehrabad Airport in Tehran resulted in the destruction of 16 aircraft belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Iran retaliated with a mass naval drone attack on Al-Dhafra Air Base, located approximately 30 kilometers south of Abu Dhabi. The base is one of the most significant US air installations in the Persian Gulf and the primary operational hub for American forces in the Strait of Hormuz region. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the attack was aimed at an air operations center, a satellite communications center, early warning radars, and fire control systems.

The conflict, which has been escalating in intensity, is raising fears about regional stability and global oil supply. International analysts are closely monitoring the consequences, as both sides demonstrate willingness for further escalation.
