Macedonia and the US will hold a strategic dialogue session in Washington on April 7, announced Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski. Macedonia will be the first country in Europe to hold such a dialogue during the new American administration's term.

The Macedonian delegation will be led by Mucunski, and will include Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski, Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski, Digital Transformation Minister Stefan Andonovski, and Energy Minister Sanja Bozhinovska.

On the American side, the host will be Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. The strategic dialogue covers topics including security and defense, energy, economy and investment, as well as rule of law and geopolitics.

This high-level mechanism was reestablished in 2022 and serves as a framework for long-term strategic cooperation between the two countries.
