Nine people were detained after a mass brawl in Kičevo in which knives and wooden objects were used, police confirmed.

The incident occurred during the day, and police officers who arrived at the scene detained the participants. Several people were injured in the brawl, and some of them sought medical attention.

Police have held all nine suspects and are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances and causes of the incident.

Such mass incidents once again raise the question of safety in smaller cities and the need for strengthening police presence.
