Middle East crisis has limited impact on Macedonian airports

The Middle East crisis may have limited impact on some destinations from Macedonian airports, TAV Macedonia reported. No major disruptions to air traffic are expected for now.

The only change is Wizz Air's decision to cancel the regular Skopje-Larnaca route from April 13, which will continue to operate only seasonally during summer months.

"We do not expect significant changes in the total number of flights and passengers," said General Director Nejat Kurt, noting that the majority of traffic at Skopje and Ohrid airports is directed toward Western and Northern Europe, not the Middle East.

TAV Macedonia reported a successful 2025 and strong winter season, with expectations for stable growth and expansion of the destination network in the coming period.
