A twenty-year-old motorcyclist from Skopje sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident at the intersection of "Djon Kenedi" and "Dizon" streets in Skopje.

According to police, the accident occurred at 5:30 PM when a "Kawasaki" motorcycle collided with a "Volkswagen Passat" with Skopje registration plates.

The motorcyclist E.R. (20) suffered serious bodily injuries which were confirmed at the Emergency Center at the "Mother Teresa" hospital complex in Skopje. The driver of the car I.Sh. (41) was not injured.

The investigation was carried out by the Skopje Department of Internal Affairs. Police are urging drivers to be especially careful at intersections and to respect traffic rules.
