The Minister of Foreign Affairs Timcho Mucunski and the Minister of Internal Affairs Panche Toshkovski celebrated Easter with the Macedonian diaspora in the United States of America.
The two ministers visited the churches of „St. Nicholas“ in Totowa, New Jersey and „Ss. Cyril and Methodius“ in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, where together with Macedonian emigrants they celebrated the greatest Christian holiday.
„Being present among our emigrants on this great holiday is a strong message of connection with the diaspora and support for its efforts to preserve the faith, tradition, and Macedonian identity,“ Mucunski wrote on social media.
The visit to the diaspora in the USA is considered a significant diplomatic gesture for strengthening ties with Macedonian communities abroad.
