Zone parking at the Regional Center in the Novo Lisice neighborhood has angered residents, who are threatening protests unless the start of fee collection is postponed.

Residents are reacting to the announcement of zone parking, believing that the measure will burden them further without solving the parking space problem. Discontent is particularly strong among tenants who have no alternative parking options.

Under public pressure, Levica party's Orce Gjorgievski backed down from collecting airport parking fees, but zone parking in Novo Lisice remains a contentious issue.

Residents are demanding either a full postponement of the fee collection start, or a review of the decision with the involvement of the local community in the parking decision-making process for their neighborhood.
