The murder in Ohrid that shocked the public gained a new dimension after it was revealed that suspect Zarko Grozdanoski from Brvenica is the leader of the group "Christian Brotherhood" and that the motive is linked to a lifetime support contract worth approximately one million euros.

Grozdanoski is suspected of killing 76-year-old Ohrid resident Klime Mitreski, who reportedly wanted to terminate the lifetime support contract with the suspect.

Lawyer Janaki Mitrovski stated that "Macedonia is unfortunately full of false, declarative believers," emphasizing that faith is often exploited for territorial marking and divisions rather than being lived according to religious principles.

The organization "Christian Brotherhood" came out in support of the suspect, while the public recalled that the same individual had threatened the then-prime minister seven years ago. Murder motivated by greed carries a sentence of life imprisonment.
