Oscars 2026: One Battle After Another Wins Six Awards, Michael B. Jordan Best Actor

The film "One Battle After Another" dominated the 98th Academy Awards ceremony, winning six statuettes including the most prestigious - Best Picture.

Michael B. Jordan won the Best Actor award for his dual role in "The Sinners," defeating favorite Timothee Chalamet from "Marty the Magnificent." This victory was one of the biggest surprises of the evening.

Autumn Durald Arkapaw made history as the first woman and first Black woman to win the Best Cinematography award, for her work on "The Sinners."

The documentary "Mr. Nobody vs Putin" unexpectedly beat the Netflix favorite "The Perfect Neighbor." The inaugural casting award went to Cassandra Kulukundis for "One Battle After Another."

The ceremony was marked by political speeches - from Palestine to artificial intelligence. Two animated short films ended in a tie, only the seventh time in Oscar history. Sean Penn was not present to receive his third Oscar, and Kieran Culkin accepted it on his behalf with a sharp comment.
