Shooting in Government Building in Turkey, Emergency Evacuation Ordered

Gunfire erupted in a government building in Antalya, Turkey, after which an emergency evacuation of the facility was ordered.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred around 11 AM local time. An unknown person entered the Directorate of National Education in the Kepez district, located within the government building, and opened fire before barricading themselves in one of the rooms.

The building was evacuated immediately after the sound of gunfire. Special police units and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, and police secured the area.

So far, there are no confirmed injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
