American President Donald Trump declared in a 20-minute address to the nation that Iran is destroyed and that the hardest phase of the war is over.

"Tonight I can report that key strategic objectives are close to being achieved. In four weeks, our forces achieved swift, decisive victories rarely seen before," Trump stated.

The president warned that the US would strike "exceptionally hard" in the next two to three weeks if Tehran refuses negotiations. He threatened that Iranian power plants would be attacked if no deal is reached, claiming that America holds "all the cards" in the negotiations.

Trump demanded the opening of the Strait of Hormuz as a condition for a ceasefire, emphasizing that countries importing oil through the strait must take responsibility for its security.

The operation has lasted 32 days, and Trump compared it to previous American conflicts that lasted years, emphasizing the speed of this campaign.
