US President Donald Trump stated that he does not believe Israel would use nuclear weapons against Iran, emphasizing that such a scenario "would never happen."

"Israel would not do that. Israel would never do that," Trump categorically responded when asked by reporters.

The statement comes after comments by his advisor David Sacks, who mentioned a potential escalation of the conflict during a podcast.

Although Israel has never officially confirmed possessing nuclear capabilities, the country has maintained deliberate ambiguity for decades to avoid escalating tensions around the nuclear program. According to estimates by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), Israel possesses approximately 90 nuclear warheads.

Trump also claimed he "prevented World War III," saying Iran would have destroyed the Middle East without American intervention. He expressed disappointment with China and Japan in the context of the ongoing crisis.
