In the late evening hours of 2 March 2026, a Skoda-branded vehicle lost control on Partizanska Boulevard in central Skopje and ended up on the flower bed near the Cathedral Church. The car remained on the flower bed until the morning.
The incident was documented with video footage and drew the attention of citizens and the traffic inspector. No seriously injured persons were reported.
Partizanska Boulevard is one of the busiest streets in the centre of Skopje. The incident once again raises questions about traffic safety in the city centre and the need for more effective speed controls.
