The ruling party VMRO-DPMNE sharply criticized the conclusion of a parliamentary session dedicated to citizens' questions, during which SDS members of parliament did not mention the name of Artan Grubi at all. The party considers this silence not to be accidental, but rather a deliberate decision for political protection.

"They are so frightened and fleeing from the topic of Artan Grubi, to the extent that they do not ask a single question mentioning him," the VMRO-DPMNE statement reads. The party asks whether Grubi possesses information that could compromise the opposition leadership.

It is particularly emphasized that the former Deputy Prime Minister knows something that poses a threat to officials from the previous government. VMRO-DPMNE points out that the attempt by SDS Vice President Jovana Trencevska to "distribute responsibility collectively among all ministers" is an obvious maneuver to blur the lines of accountability.

The accusations revolve around the State Lottery, where Grubi was allegedly involved in financial fraud during the previous government. Now that the former official is in custody, the question arises as to which level of the political hierarchy will be affected by his potential testimony.

"No one can be above the law. The time for political protection is over - the time for transparency and the rule of law has come", the party statement emphasizes. VMRO-DPMNE demands full accountability for all who are found guilty within the investigation.
