Analysts: Trump opened Pandora's box - Iran knew the West had underestimated it

Analysts warn that the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran has opened "Pandora's box of chaos" - a conflict whose consequences exceed regional borders and affect the entire global economy.

Iran is applying the so-called "mosaic defense" doctrine - a decentralized military approach that enabled rapid recovery after the death of Khamenei on February 28. Instead of a hierarchical command structure, Iranian forces operate in independent cells, increasing their resilience to attacks.

The key to Iran's strategy is the Strait of Hormuz - 20 percent of global oil supply passes through it. Simply by deploying drones near the strait without firing, Iran managed to force insurance companies to withdraw, causing an effective blockade. Oil prices jumped to 120 dollars per barrel.

Saudi analyst Aziz Alghashian warned from the very beginning: "We knew this would open Pandora's box of chaos." The consequences are far-reaching - countries from Kenya to Bangladesh are suffering from fuel shortages, and the number of cancelled flights worldwide exceeded 46,000. The West appears to have underestimated Iran's capacity for asymmetric warfare.
