Today, the Macedonian parliament held a commemorative session for the anniversary of the tragic fire at the "Pulse" nightclub in Kocani, in which 63 people died and over 200 were injured.
On March 14, the Government will host an International Conference entitled "Institutional and Clinical Aspects and Solutions After the Kocani Fire — One Year Later." Representatives of institutions, health professionals, international organizations, and humanitarian partners will participate.
According to government spokesperson Marija Miteva, doctors and medical staff from 37 countries that responded in treating the injured in the fire will attend the conference. The goal is a comprehensive analysis of the response to the tragedy — from initial intervention and life-saving through long-term treatment, rehabilitation, and systemic solutions for the future.
Meanwhile, the judicial process related to the Kocani nightclub fire continues.
