Maksim Dimitrievski, leader of the ZNAM movement and mayor of Kumanovo, stated that opposition party SDSM is in serious political and personnel crisis, with much of its activity directed at attacks on ZNAM.
"Venko Filipce's only interest is limited to his party chair. Instead of serious opposition politics, SDSM today deals with internal disputes and personal interests, which is why many honest members are withdrawing or leaving the party" - Dimitrievski stated.
He emphasized that disappointed SDSM members are joining ZNAM, but the movement carefully vets new members to build a stable political force. Regarding the case of former Deputy PM Artan Grubi, Dimitrievski criticized the house arrest decision, calling it "a precedent that undermines trust in the judicial system". He stressed that a person with an international arrest warrant should be in investigative detention, not at home.
Regarding a possible government reshuffle, Dimitrievski noted no concrete talks are underway, expressing satisfaction with the work of ZNAM ministers in the areas of reform and rule of law.
