The expropriation of properties along the route past the "Mihajlo Apostolski" bridge is stalling the construction of the boulevard toward Keramidnica, confirmed Skopje mayor Orce Gjorgjievski.

"Most positions were resolved by agreement, where the citizens' demands were reasonable. There is a dispute with one family that is demanding double the appraised amount. The first hearing is scheduled for June," Gjorgjievski said.

The mayor announced that they are working on an option to open two lanes and, while the entire procedure is still ongoing, use them as an exit from the bridge.

All property-related issues for the obstacle at Momin Potok were resolved in a record five months, with intensified work on that section.

This spring, Gjorgjievski announced, the widening of Boris Trajkovski boulevard toward Drachevo and the opening of Ljubljanska street toward the Bardovci settlement will begin.
