A fire broke out on the US aircraft carrier "USS Gerald R. Ford", known as the world's largest aircraft carrier, injuring two sailors. US Central Naval Command confirmed the fire has been brought under control.

"The fire originated in the ship's laundry room. The cause of the fire is not related to combat operations and is under control" - the official statement reads. Command confirmed no damage to the propulsion system, and the carrier remains fully operational.
