A major fire broke out in Glasgow, near Central Station - Scotland's busiest railway hub. The fire burned for over 12 hours, and a building in the immediate vicinity partially collapsed, causing chaos in city transport.

The station has been closed indefinitely, with dozens of trains cancelled. The national rail operator informed passengers that station operations are suspended while damage is assessed and emergency services respond.

The fire started in a vaping shop near the station, after which the flames spread to an adjacent building causing it to partially collapse. Firefighters worked at the scene for hours to bring the blaze under control.

The good news is that no injuries have been reported. Authorities and emergency services evacuated people in time before part of the building collapsed.

The incident caused serious disruption to public transport in Glasgow, Scotland's second-largest city. Passengers were advised to avoid the city centre and seek alternative means of transport while remediation is underway.
