The Greek oil tanker "Maran Homer" was hit by an unknown object while waiting to enter a terminal at Novorossiysk in the Black Sea. The vessel was waiting to load crude oil from Kazakhstan.

Russian war correspondents suspect the attack was carried out by Ukrainian forces. The incident raises concerns about the safety of oil transport through the Black Sea.
