Doctors warn: this habit increases the risk of heart disease in young people

While heart disease has long been associated with the older population, the latest data shows a worrying trend - more and more young people are facing heart problems, and the main culprit is lifestyle.

Cardiologists warn that the combination of stress, insufficient movement and poor diet creates a "silent threat" that shows no symptoms for a long time but can lead to serious consequences. Particularly dangerous is the daily habit of prolonged sitting - in front of a computer, phone or television.

According to experts, the body is not designed for hours of immobility, and this directly affects circulation and heart function.

The most common risks cited by doctors are:

  • Reduced physical activity leading to weakening of the heart muscle
  • Increased stress and disrupted sleep, which raise blood pressure

Additionally, the modern lifestyle includes increased consumption of fast food, sugars and energy drinks, which further burdens the body.

Interestingly, symptoms are often ignored or misinterpreted. Fatigue, mild chest tightness or rapid heartbeat are frequently attributed to a "bad day" rather than a potential health problem.

Doctors advise that prevention is key and does not require drastic changes:

  • At least 30 minutes of physical activity daily
  • Reducing stress and better sleep quality
  • A balanced diet with less processed food

The conclusion is clear - heart disease is no longer just a problem for older people. In an era of fast living and technology, health becomes a matter of conscious choice, not chance.
