Police found the driver who on March 16 hit an 11-year-old girl in the Kapistec neighborhood of Skopje and fled the scene.

The traffic accident occurred around 13:20 at the intersection of "Vasil Gjorgov" and "Narod Front" streets. The driver, identified as S.B., struck the minor with his vehicle and left the scene.

The girl was admitted to the Emergency Center of the "Mother Teresa" clinical complex with serious injuries.

Criminal charges will be filed against S.B. for "serious offenses against public safety and property in traffic" and for "failure to provide assistance to an injured person in a traffic accident".
