Reconstruction work on Leninova Street has officially begun, bringing temporary traffic changes and detours that will affect commuters and residents in the area for the coming weeks.
The project includes complete resurfacing of the roadway, replacement of underground utility pipes, and improvements to sidewalks and pedestrian crossings. The total investment is expected to significantly improve infrastructure in one of the city\'s key corridors.
During the first phase of construction, traffic will be redirected through alternative routes. Authorities have installed signage indicating detour options and are urging drivers to plan extra travel time.
Public transport lines that normally pass through Leninova Street have been temporarily rerouted. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules and stop locations on the transit authority\'s website.
City officials said the reconstruction is expected to be completed within two months, weather permitting. They asked residents and businesses in the area for patience, emphasizing that the improvements will benefit the neighborhood for years to come.
