Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is visiting Budapest today for a political-economic visit, where the key point is a one-on-one meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
On the agenda are current regional and European issues, as well as the advancement of bilateral relations between the two countries. Mickoski is accompanied by a high-level six-member government delegation.
"The conversation will address current regional challenges and the concrete support Hungary provides for Macedonia's European path. The goal is to deepen the partnership of strategic importance for the country," the government delegation announced.
The visit comes at a time when Macedonia and Hungary are intensifying cooperation on multiple levels, and Orban is considered one of the most vocal supporters of Macedonia in the European integration process.
