NASA successfully launched the Artemis II mission on April 2. The SLS rocket lifted off from Launch Pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Four astronauts embarked on a 10-day journey around the Moon, reaching the farthest point from Earth in the history of human spaceflight. Boosters and engines performed flawlessly, and solar panels were successfully deployed.

This marks the first time in over 50 years that humans have traveled around the Moon. The mission tests critical systems for deep space exploration.
