Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski stated that the problem with Bulgaria can be solved in one afternoon, provided several key EU member states decide they want enlargement.
"If there is political will, the Bulgaria question can be resolved in one afternoon," Nikoloski emphasized, adding that the real challenge is not Sofia, but the lack of clear decision-making among key European centers on the future of EU enlargement.
Regarding constitutional amendments, the government maintains its position that clear guarantees and predictability of the EU integration process are needed before proceeding with changes.
Nikoloski confirmed that Macedonia is implementing the necessary reforms within the Growth Plan framework, positioning the country ahead of regional competitors. He stressed that Macedonia is pursuing a dignified policy for EU accession without humiliating the nation.
