Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Aleksandar Nikoloski held several high-level meetings at the US State Department, discussing the strengthening of relations between North Macedonia and the United States.

Nikoloski stressed that the US is North Macedonia's number one strategic partner and the country that provides the most support. The discussions centered on infrastructure projects, particularly the Pan-European Corridor 8 and Pan-European Corridor 10, which pass through North Macedonia and play a significant role in regional connectivity and economic development.

Additionally, possibilities for concluding a trade agreement were explored that would enable greater business activity and trade exchange between the two countries. "The strategic partnership should mean prosperity, progress, security and the strengthening of pro-Western values in North Macedonia," said Nikoloski.

During the visit, Nikoloski also participated in a World Bank Forum, where he spoke about the significance of Corridors 10 and 8 for connecting the region with the broader European space.
