North Korea launched more than 10 projectiles during joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the testing of 600mm caliber missile systems.

According to reports, the projectiles hit an island target at a distance of 364.4 kilometers, demonstrating the military capabilities of North Korea.

The launches were carried out in response to the US-South Korea joint military exercises, which Pyongyang considers a provocation and a threat to its security.
