Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán posted a video on Facebook claiming the Ukrainian side is threatening his family members, including children and grandchildren. "The Ukrainians have already threatened my family, my children and grandchildren," he said while speaking by phone with his daughters.

Orbán advised his family to remain calm: "We must take it seriously, but we must not be afraid. In situations like this, families unite." He also emphasized that "there are limits to everything."

The context of the dispute is the interruption of transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline to Hungarian and Slovak refineries, after a Russian drone damaged the Brody oil hub in western Ukraine on January 27. Budapest claims Kyiv is deliberately delaying repairs due to political pressure ahead of the parliamentary elections on April 12, while Ukrainian officials and analysts deny this, citing serious environmental damage.

Orbán's Fidesz party is facing unprecedented electoral pressure — the opposition Tisza party leads in polls with around 50 percent, versus 39 percent for Fidesz.
