Residents in several parts of Skopje will experience water and power outages today due to scheduled maintenance work on utility infrastructure.
The city\'s water utility announced that water supply will be interrupted in the municipalities of Kisela Voda, Aerodrom, and parts of Centar from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The work involves repairs to aging pipelines and the installation of new valves.
Separately, the power distribution company confirmed that electricity will be cut in sections of Gazi Baba and Butel from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for planned upgrades to the distribution network.
Residents are advised to stock up on water and make necessary arrangements in advance. The utilities have apologized for the inconvenience and said the work is essential to prevent larger disruptions in the future.
Both companies stated that services will be restored as quickly as possible, and in some areas outages may be shorter than the announced timeframes.
