On World Roma Day, the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) for the first time provided a textbook on \'Roma Language and Culture\' for sixth-grade students.
This historic step marks the first time Roma students receive an official textbook in their mother tongue at this level of education.
The textbook covers the fundamentals of the Roma language and culture, representing a significant advancement in the inclusiveness of Macedonia\'s education system.
Until now, Roma students did not have appropriate educational materials in their mother tongue for higher grades, which posed an obstacle in the educational process.
